The Dodgers placed Blake Snellon the injured list Friday with loose bodies in his left elbow, the club announced. The move is retroactive to May 12.
Snell was scratched from his scheduled start on Friday night in the opener of the Freeway Series. Will Klein will start a bullpen game against the Angels instead.
The 33-year-old Snell made his 2026 debut last Saturday against the Braves after beginning the year on the IL with left shoulder fatigue. He showed some rust as he gave up five runs (four earned) on six hits and two walks in only three innings of action.
Snell missed four months of his first season as a Dodger in 2025 due to inflammation in the same shoulder.
In a corresponding move, the Dodgers recalled left-hander Charlie Barnes.
