GAMING NEWS Star Trek spin-offs
$17 – $169
Outside of the core series, we’ve seen several other terrific Star Trek series keep the fanbase engaged. Lower Decks is an animated spin-off that pokes fun at the franchise but is extremely on-point as a Star Trek show, and the Picard series has continued the adventures of the former Enterprise captain as he stepped out of retirement to once again thwart the Borg, reassemble his old crew, and take on one more challenge from Q.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has also been popular since it first aired, as this show leaned closer to the weekly format of old-school Star Trek to deliver classic adventures with a modern flair.
If Picard is your favorite captain, then you might want to check out the Picard Legacy Collection for a comprehensive look at the Starfleet legend’s career. This is a starship-sized 54-disc collection that includes all seven seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation, all four TNG movies, and all three seasons of the recent Picard TV series. On top of that, you’re getting over 35 hours of special features and physical items like artwork and quotes, a one-of-a-kind deck of playing cards, a magnet sheet featuring all of Captain Picard’s badges and four custom Chateau Picard drink coasters.
